Jennifer Quan
Jennifer joined Simms Showers LLP in November 2021 and specializes in church, nonprofit, and business law. As a paralegal and executive assistant to the managing partner, she oversees client communications, tracks legal projects, and ensures seamless coordination across the firm.
She assists attorneys with compliance, governance, and regulatory matters, drafting key documents such as articles of incorporation, bylaws, operating agreements, and gift deeds. She also manages state compliance filings, including annual reports and business registrations, helping clients meet legal requirements. In addition, she plays a key role in organizing legal seminars on topics like child abuse prevention and church employment law.
With a background in business operations, management, and accounting, Jennifer takes a strategic approach to helping clients navigate legal processes with clarity and confidence. She is passionate about restorative justice and community impact, supporting organizations as they fulfill their missions.
Outside of work, Jennifer enjoys victim’s advocacy, bullet journaling, and art. She also values time with her family, including her Marine son and her younger son, who will graduate high school in 2026. When together, they often engage in lively debates—sometimes philosophical, but more often about truly important questions, like whether Oreos should be dipped in milk or just chased with it, or if an RV is really just a house with commitment issues.
